Feature & Follow Friday

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

What books would you give to newbies in your favorite genre? (Ex. I'm a newbie to high fantasy and EVERYONE said to ease into it with the Throne of Glass series!) - Suggested by Take Me Away...

Oh goodness, I could suggest a lot. I think that I would definitely recommend the Harry Potter Series to get into the Fantasy Realm, I have yet to come across a person who does not like this series.

I would also pick Night World Series to get into the Paranormal Romance books, those were one of the first paranormal romance books I picked up. Or I would pick  I would pick the Blue Bloods series.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants I would pick for under the contemporary genre. I liked these books and I think they are a good start into the contemporary world!!

What about you?

Happy All Hollows Eve and Halloween and any other version of Halloween that there is!!!!

  1. I haven't read any of the books you suggested. Dang it! I always feel so far behind when I find books that have been recommended but I haven't gotten to read yet.

    1. Haha I know how you feel, especially when it comes to new books. I always find out about them a few days before they actual come out when every one has already known about them for months.

  2. I still need to read L.J. Smith's Night World series! I have the compilations in my TBR Mountain of Doom! They were actually among the first books to create said "pile" when Borders closed (sob!)!

  6. I remember loving the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants book when I was younger! Didn't she come out with another book where they are all grown up? Or am I thinking something else? Love the post!

  7. Those paranormal series sound familiar, but I can't remember who they are by.
My daughter tried the Sisterhood series. She didn't like it. I guess she's just more into the scary stuff.
