Question of the Week: Are you also a writer and what genre or did you ever consider writing?
Although I would love to be a writer, I really do not want to be published. In middle school and high school I always loved to make up my own stories. Which were usually fictional and a paranormal romance. I just would not want to be published. I also need to be really bored for me to break out my pencil to make a quick sketch of the outline of my stories. Also, I would not want the pressure of a dead line for a book over my head. I will let writing be a dream job if anything!

Of course, I will keep stopping by. I love meeting new people. I guess that is why I started to blog! Although I have not done been blogging as long as most, everyone is so nice.
DeleteThanks for stopping by! I'm glad you enjoy writing!
ReplyDeleteNice! Writing for enjoyment can be fun! That's how it started for me, and yet I strive to be published. But it hasn't been going well for me lately! Especially with the writer's block! :P

Thanks for stopping by!! I think you will find a way through writers block and get published. Good luck I think you will do great :)
DeleteI used to write stories when I was younger too. It's fun, especially without any deadlines or pressures from publishers, so I know what you mean there. New bloglovin' follower. My F&F is at Bookworm Book Reviews.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow! I loved making up characters that was always the fun part about writing. Creating a person that doesn't exist except in your mind :)
DeleteGreat answer! I hate doing anything that has a deadline, it's extremely pressuring.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! New follower :)
You should only ever write for yourself anyway. It should be what makes you happy :) Followed on GFC, Bloglovin,Twitter, and gave FB a like! :) My FF
ReplyDeleteThank You!!! On those certain days that I get to write for myself I do and it is great!

Of course! :)
DeleteI am the same I think I would have my book to be out in public to be criticized etc. I am too shy for it!
ReplyDeleteExactly, I do not think I would want a lot of people talking about me. That would be weird.
DeleteI think having a piece of my work published would be like a dream come true! But you're right-- those deadlines would be daunting, and I'd be too afraid that writer's block would rear its ugly head.

Every time I try to start a story I always get writers block. No matter what I try. So what then happens is I go onto a new idea that I have :) It is a cycle for me!
DeleteI can totally see where you're coming from--while writing is a dream job, there is definitely pressure to meet deadlines and everything! I personally kind of hope that I have to deal with that pressure one day because I love writing so much, haha.
ReplyDeleteNew follower!
I hope you'll check out my post (even though it's a bit late)! :)
