Feauture and Follow Friday

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Do you decide in advance what you read for the coming week or month? Why / why not? - Suggested by Unconventional Book Views

Haha oh goodness half the time yes, half the time no. If I am currently reading a series than I will plan to pick up the next book. As for the next coming month, definitely. If I am sent ARC's or books to review I need to prioritize around those books first. But other than that I tend to read what is ever in my TBR pile. I just saw the cutest thing ever - a TBR JAR!! Maybe some of you knew about it! I am planning on doing that so I actually have a solid plan for the next months to come.

 What do you do?

Also you can follow on twitter and facebook!! I would love those too!

  1. Nice! That's pretty much my method too! Reading whatever strikes my fancy! But ARCs and review books come first! I considered doing a TBR Jar once, but then after being bombarded with review books I never got around to it!

Then also, I know what books I want to grab from my TBR Mountain of Doom! I'm thinking after I get caught up with review books, I'll dive into the Splintered trilogy so I'll be ready come January!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. TBR jar is a great way to make plans for which books to read next, it's more organized. :)

  5. I think I've seen that TBR jar too! I'm planning on making one to make choosing a book easier, but I think I still won't follow it.

  6. We are very similar in our approach towards scheduling :) I tend to push any ARC or book review request to the very top of my list :)

  7. I've seen the TBR jar, but I'm not actually sure that would work for me... And it would just take me too long to write out all the book titles :D It's a really nice idea, though, and I've seen some cool pictures of TBR jars lately.
Have a great weekend, Kat :) I'm following you back via Bloglovin.

  9. I can never follow through with TBRs! It makes me feel like I'm forcing myself to read something I don't want to read. I'm a new Bloglovin follower!

    1. Yes, it sometimes does feel like that :) If I do not like the book I picked I tend to set it aside and come back to it at a later date :)
